Sunny Day

Wow, two nice days in a row. Yesterday was so nice and enjoyed a nice afternoon walk. Today is even nicer and not a cloud in the sky. There has been a goose sitting on a clutch of eggs on top of a muskrat house in the slough below the house. So went down and took a picture to share. Some people view these birds as pests, but I like them.

California

California was great and could not believe how beautiful the University of California Santa Cruz is . The class rooms sit in a Redwood forest and you get from building to building on paths through the forest. Then this whole setting is on Montery Bay. The weather was sunny and 70 degrees. When I got home was able to come back to reality with with about six inches of snow.
Now the front yard is full of robbins and other song birds and the ponds are full of ducks and geese.
